Battery cover left black for BMW R 80G/S and R 65GS. Battery Cover Left R80 G/S R80 ST Even when new， it didn-t take much at all to break the mounting tabs off of the back side of the side covers. The replacement side covers are now no longer available from BMW.

This is an improved reproduction of the original part. The more modern plastics used here are much more flexible and not brittle like the originals. In addition， gussets have been incorporated into the mounting tabs， making them very strong. This part will restore your G/S or ST to original appearance with a part that is made to last.

The cover is made of injection molded ABS plastic， It can be painted using the same automotive painting materials and procedures used to paint bumpers， mirrors， etc.
