While many people may not focus on engine power a closer look at how an engine works reveals that a velocity stack is a key component that can determine engine torque and increase power much like an exhaust system. KSPP has modified the velocity stacks profile to allow for greater airflow based on principles of fluid dynamics. The length of the stack has been shortened to shift the engines torque to a higher RPM range supporting ECU tuning to maximize horsepower.

After a DynoJet test with ECU tuning the engines power increased -
- Power - 126.68 HP to 129.40 HP
- Torque - 68.66 Nm to 68.75 Nm
