This vest offers Elevation safety and visibility for scooter riders，motorcyclists，car drivers，joggers and schoolchildren．Complies with European standards EN ISO 20471 (high-visibility clothing) and EN 340 (protective clothing - general requirements)．
In Germany，there is no legal obligation for motorcycles and scooters to carry or wear a High-Visibility Vest; however，carrying an EN ISO 20471-approved Vest is expressly recommended to provide better protection in the event of a breakdown or accident．There is no general regulation on wearing or fines．
Within Europe，the regulations range from a mere recommendation to a clear obligation to carry and wear a vest．A High-Visibility Vest must always be ready to hand on two-wheeled tours - usually one Vest per vehicle is sufficient．France，Luxembourg，Belgium，Bulgaria，Croatia，Italy，Lithuania，Slovakia and Hungary，among others，currently have a nationwide obligation to carry and wear one in the event of a breakdown or accident．
Several countries regulate the issue to a limited extent： In Norway and Portugal，the obligation only applies to vehicles with a national license plate (i．e．rental motorcycles on site，for example)．Serbia exempted motorcycles from the obligation in 2024; conversely，Hungary has required all road users outside built-up areas to wear a Vest as soon as they are on the road or hard shoulder since 2025．
Fluorescent colors - yellow，orange or red-orange - and retroreflective stripes according to EN ISO 20471 are mandatory; older vests according to DIN EN 471 remain permissible as long as their luminosity does not fall below the standard limits．
Practical recommendation： The Vest belongs in the tank bag，jacket pocket or Glovebox so that it can be put on before dismounting．On tours with a pillion passenger or in groups，an extra pair of Vests increases legal certainty．Even without a formal obligation，the luminous surface increases visibility up to 150 meters in the dark or rain，which significantly reduces the risk of accidents．
Insurance experts also recommend wearing a High-Visibility Vest while riding a scooter or motorcycle in order to be seen better - day or night
