The original Kickstart Lever Bushes in the wideframe casings is made of steel！ Many repair Bushes are made of gunmetal or brass.
Although these are proven plain bearing materials，they are too soft at this point and wear out quickly.

The SIP Bushes kick starter segment correspond to the original part in terms of material selection.
The black surface is evidence of the hardening process of the component.
The standard Bushes 87989200 are dimensionally matched to a new kick starter segment.
The oversize Bushes 87989210 have a smaller inner diameter of 48 mm.
The oversize allows a used kick starter segment to be overhauled on a lathe.
The outer diameter of the segment should be around 0.1 to 0.2 mm smaller than the inner diameter of the＞installed＜Bushes.
Turning the used segment will make it completely round and smooth again; this procedure therefore describes the recognized proper repair.
