DRT T7 carburetor - reworked DELL’ORTO for full-throttle largeframe setups.
Denis Innocente modifies original DELL’ORTO carburetors for the DRT carburetors.
The T7 version has a larger valve in the float chamber cover and a Φ 5.2 mm float needle.
In addition，the supply hole in the carburetor is drilled out from 1.5 mm to 1.8 mm (PX177) or 2.0 mm (PX200).
These modifications solve the problem of ringing/rattling under full load，which in the worst case ends in a piston sticking.
Larger valve in the float chamber cover + float needle Φ 5.2 mm
Supply hole drilled out：1.8 mm (PX177) or 2.0 mm (PX200)
Reduces ringing/rattling under full load and prevents piston jamming
The carburetors are available in four versions：for powerful largeframes with 177 cc as well as for＞208 cc and other tuning setups.
In addition，the carburetors are available in two versions with their own SIP 4.0 throttle slide.
The jetting should be adjusted accordingly.
Conclusion：A sensible upgrade for all those who want their performance-optimized Largeframe to be more powerful.
Ideal in conjunction with the Pro series float chamber spacer and the POLINI Venturi intake funnel.
