If tuned Engines are running at high speeds，the Clutch Basket is subjected to high loads - a reinforced solution is worthwhile here to prevent failures.
With tuned Engines，high engine speeds occasionally cause Clutch Baskets to bend (”pop up”).
Clutch baskets with an Outer Ring are available as a countermeasure：The ring is made from a single piece and welded to the clutch basket.
This means that the basket can no longer bend open and the Cluster Circlip remains securely in its groove.
Recommendation：Adjust the Clutch Friction Plates slightly to prevent the plates from hooking.
To do this，use a file to minimally rework the edges of the linings.
Conclusion：The cheapest version of a reinforced Clutch Basket.
A reinforced Cluster Circlip from SURFLEX is a must.
Include a new Pressure Plate，Push Rod and Castle Nut with cage at the same time.
