Clutch Friction Plates from SIP PERFORMANCE on reinforced backing material.
Made by Newfren！ The four SIP PERFORMANCE Race Clutch Friction Plates are available in two versions：made from carbon black or a high-quality cork mixture.
In contrast to standard cork facings，they have 24 separate friction segments，which ensure perfect lubrication，better cooling and ideal power transmission at the same time.
This makes them top-class Clutch Friction Plates.
A common problem with Cosa clutch facings is worn “lugs”.
This is often caused by the backing material being too soft.
The SIP PERFORMANCE Race Clutch Friction Plates are manufactured on a harder backing material.
This significantly increases the service life of the “lugs”.
Note：When assembling，pay close attention to the correct sequence of the separating and friction plates.
They must also not be bent，as this can lead to problems when cutting.
Soak the pads in Gearbox Oil for one night before fitting.
New Locking Washer，Woodruff Key and Nut should also be used.
Check the Pressure Plate and Push Rod for wear and replace if necessary.
A SIP/MMW/S＆S Sport/Race basket is recommended for all Engines over 15 hp.
When replacing the Clutch Friction Plates，the Thrust Washer of the clutchshould also be replaced.
