Set of clutch plates for the SIP Performance clutch，consisting of the discs of the SIP Performance “CR 80” plate sets.
High-quality clutch plates use aluminium as a carrier material.
In addition，the plates are reinforced.
Of course，we also equip our SIP Performance clutch for the Vespa Largeframe models with such plates.
The only difference between the set of pads for our Performance clutch and those for conventional “Cosa clutches” is that four discs are used on both sides instead of three and one disc on half.

SIP Performance clutch plates bring state-of-the-art backing materials to the clutch baskets of the Vespa Largeframe models.
The friction surfaces are applied to aluminium plates.
The lugs that engage in the cut-outs of the basket are reinforced.
This means that the pads no longer suffer from the poor ratio of their own weight to the thin contact surface at the edges when idling.
The force is absorbed by a larger surface.
The SIP PERFORMANCE RACE “CR80” “COSA 2” are available with two different pad materials，“sintered” and “black carbon”.
The sintered material is a very high quality and durable material for powerful everyday motors.
It represents a nice compromise between power transmission and grinding-in behaviour.
The “black carbon” is perfect for use on the race track.
It is more heat-resistant and can still be ground in sensitively under full throttle.
On the other hand，it needs more pressure to transmit the same power as the pads with the sintered material.
For perfect metering，we recommend the SIP Performance clutch cable.
The CRIMAZ “Rallino” makes operating the clutch even easier.
