Clutch lever，replaces original lever on the clutch cover
Vespa clutches are actuated mechanically by a clutch cable.
This cable connects to the lever on the clutch cover.
Once the clutch lever on the handlebar is pulled in，this lever，via the plunger pin and the pressure plate，compresses the clutch.
There is a chain of components from the lever on the handlebar，to the clutch cable，the lever on the clutch cover，the plunger pin and the pressure plate，all of which are relevant for the functioning of the clutch.
Only when all links of this chain are in good working order does the clutch work as it should.
A worn lever or plunger may well stop the clutch from separating properly，or it can cause it to slip.
