Conversion fork for an inconspicuous and modern chassis in Vespa oldie models.
A topic that is often neglected when tuning is the brake system.
What use is the most powerful Engine if the vehicle has to be brought to a life-threatening standstill afterwards? The original brake system is simply not designed for heavily tuned vehicles.

We offer this modified SIP Conversion Steering Column so that smallframe or vintage riders can also enjoy the benefits of a Disc Brake.
It is based on a Vespa PK50-125/S/SS/XL/Automatica Steering Column.
Steering tube height,steerer tube and steering stop have been adapted to the respective models.
The slot or hole for the Steering Lock must be checked and adjusted if necessary due to the tolerances on the vehicle itself.
The conversion enables the use of all 20 mm GRIMECA/SIP disc brakes.
In addition,the vehicle now stands on a solid 10” chassis with a wider range of Tyres with the required speed index.
The Steering Column fits into the Frame without modification.
However,the mudguard mounts must be adapted on all models.
In addition,a shortened,“lowered” Shock Absorber is required to compensate for the swingarm angle.
The available Mounting Kit is perfect for anyone who does not want to worry about the individual parts required for a PK50-125/S/SS/XL/Automatica steering column conversion.
The scope of delivery includes a complete Steering Head Bearing Set,the Dust Cover Shell and Small parts for the Shock Absorber,Brake Drum and Speedometer Shaft mounting.
However,a Speedometer Cable,Hub Cap and Suspension Arm Cover must also be ordered.
To convert the rear of the vehicle to 10”,we offer conversion rims.
For oldie riders,we recommend converting to PX Engine.
Alternatively,we offer a conversion rim or a Drum Brake Conversion Kit.
Don’t forget the front Rim,Tyre,brake system,Speedometer Cable and Shock Absorber! In addition,a different Bracket is required for the upper Shock Absorber Seating,which compensates for the 4 mm offset.
Attention:Depending on the length of the front and rear suspension elements selected,it may be necessary to shorten or lengthen the Centre Stand so that the scooter stands reliably and can be jacked up and down with little effort.
We recommend the 185 mm version for original ground clearance and the 165 mm version for lowered vehicles.

11 mm to achieve an even line from the mudguard to the Legshield).
We also recommend a 185 mm Shock Absorber to compensate for the swing arm angle.
The Steering Columns SIP item no.
13337000 and 13347130 are shortened by 2 cm in the lower area and can be driven with 185 mm or 165 mm Shock Absorbers.
The Steering Column SIP item no.
13347200 is not shortened in the lower area and can therefore be ridden with the original PK length of 205 mm or with the shorter version of 185 mm Shock Absorbers.
Conclusion:The perfect addition for all those who want to combine the beauty of the old Vespas with more riding fun and dynamics.
Mounting Kit supplies all the Small parts needed to assemble the Fork.
The Adaptor Plate ensures the correct position of the shock absorber in combination with a Disc Brake.
The SIP Performance Shock Absorbers are the right length for the PK Fork and can also be shortened.
