With our kits including parts certificates,we now offer the quintessence of years of tuning experience in a road-legal way - as all-round carefree packages for registration in the vehicle documents.
Since January 2013,there is no longer an 80 km/h limit for class A1 light motorcycles.
This opens up completely new perspectives in the field of legal tuning.
As original PX80 Cylinders have not been produced for a long time,anyone looking for a replacement Cylinder for their PX80 had to either fall back on a used part or install a Racing Cylinder with 135 cc or 139 cc.
However,the latter was not legally possible for riders with a “small license” up to 125 cc.

The SIP 125 cc Sport Tuning Kit,which we have legalized with a parts certificate,provides a remedy.
It offers a significant increase in performance,better exhaust and a higher top speed with good durability and easy installation - without any changes to the Crankcase.
Even a retrofit is possible.
The SIP 125 cc Sport Tuning Kit is a creation of the SIP team.
It is a very good upgrade for 80cc largeframe Engines.
With our classic SIP Performance resonance exhaust,the kit is already quite sporty,but remains suitable for touring thanks to the low-noise,partially double-walled exhaust with sufficient ground clearance and harmonious,early power delivery.
The kit also includes many effective Small Parts such as the Float Chamber with a larger needle valve and the special Throttle Slide,which are ideal for those who are not yet familiar with tuning.
The core components are the high revving SIP 125 cc Cylinder and the larger SI24 Carburettor of the PX200 Models.
The result is more power and more speed.
The kit is available in a version with an enclosed carburettor with separate lubrication and without separate lubrication.
If the Engine is already old or has many kilometers behind it,an engine overhaul is recommended before the conversion.
Crankshaft bearings,Oil Seals and Cruciform in particular are typical wear parts on Vespa two-stroke engines.
Both kits are also a good basis for further tuning.
Caution:However,this invalidates the parts certificate.
Opening up the Engine,for example,offers the possibility of changing to a better Crankshaft.
If open-heart surgery is being carried out anyway,the tuning should be rounded off sensibly with tuned transmission components.
Tuning Kit SIP 125 ccm Sport with parts certificate:Racing Cylinder SIP 125 ccm,Carburettor DELL’ORTO SI 24.24E of the PX200 without or with separate lubrication,with modified Throttle Slide and Float Chamber,SIP Performance Racing Exhaust,Main Jet,ignition timing 19° before TDC.

When installing,check the Ignition System and replace at least the Spark Plug.
When increasing performance,make sure the brakes are in good condition,for example with our SIP Performance Brake Pads.
Good Shock Absorbers also help to maintain traction.
