Aluminum Cylinder for Vespa 200 Models from SIP.
The better original cylinder as a replacement or discreet update.
This Cylinder is very similar to the original from Piaggio.
It can simply be used as a plug and play replacement.
However,two details have been given a contemporary update:Firstly,aluminum with a coated raceway has been chosen as the material.
Secondly,the Cylinder has five overflow channels instead of three.

The Cylinder is designed as a “plug and play” replacement for the original cylinder.
No machining of the Crankcase is necessary.
The original head can be used one-to-one.
The displacement remains unchanged.
The cylinder design and power delivery are closely based on the original cylinder.
The cast aluminum material ensures better heat dissipation compared to the grey cast iron of the original PX and Rally 200 cylinders.
The raceway is coated,which makes it extremely durable.
Overall,the choice of material significantly increases the durability and reliability of the Cylinder.
The timing and positioning of the channels in the Cylinder is strongly based on the original cylinder.
The aim was to maintain power delivery,noise development and compatibility with the original components of the Vespa Engine.
The only change concerns the side transfer ports.
There are two instead of one channel per side.
This Reinforces the torque-oriented design of the original engine.
slightly more power and performance is available over the entire speed range.
The shape of the Piston also corresponds to the original.
The 66.5mm bore also remains the same.
Nevertheless,we have made a small improvement here too.
The Piston Rings have a thickness of 1.5mm.
A clear improvement over the thick original rings,without sacrificing durability.
Conclusion:The more modern original cylinder.
More reliable and more torque,without the disadvantages of the Piaggio counterpart.
