Since around 2019 the digital squared speedometers are standard equipment with the Vespa Elettrica models and an upgrade option for the Vespa Primavera S/Sprint S models.
Sadly PIAGGIO still prefer chromed adornments，so it’s no real surprise that these models also leave the factory in Pontedera with a chrome-look speedometer surround.
This was enough motivation for us to start providing more decent looking black speedometer surrounds produced for sale in our webshop.

Our SIP Style decorative speedometer surrounds are produced with identical dimensions to the PIAGGIO items，plug and play fitting is guaranteed exactly like the originals.
They are also made of plastic and we have them available with either a matt or gloss black finish.
To install the new speedometer surround the upper headset section must first be removed，followed by the flyscreen and mirrors etc.
Loosen the four screws beneath the steering assembly and then the cover including the speedometer can be removed.
Finally the speedometer surround is accessible and can be swapped.
Conclusion：An inexpensive possibility of quickly and simply upgrading the appearance of your Vespa cockpit.
Why not complete the optical upgrade with further custom accessories，such as sport brake levers，horncover inserts，switch covers，mirrors，etc.？
