The SIP SPARE PARTS primary transmission for Vespa Smallframe reliably transmits the engine power from the Primary Driven Gear on the Crankshaft via the primary cage to the secondary shaft and finally to the rear wheel.
A robust primary is particularly important for more powerful Engines，as the primary cage is subject to heavy loads.

Puller thread on the small Primary Driven Gear：simple，damage-free disassembly
Original Smallframe primary gear ratios are helical and are supplied complete with primary cage and Primary Driven Gear.
If a primary is installed in another Model，the transmission ratio changes automatically.
Straight-toothed primary gear ratios are now also available for many models not listed - ideal for higher engine power.
Note：The gear ratio can be adjusted by replacing the Primary Driven Gear.
However，Gear Cogs of different diameters cannot be combined at will.
Compatible DRT Gear Cogs are recommended for maximum fitting accuracy.
