Mixer Tube for SI Carburettor：Cleanly tune partial load
In the SI carburettor，the Mixer Tube is located in the middle of the Nozzle Fitting between the Main Jet and Main Air Correction Jet and is responsible for regulating the mixture in the part-load or half-throttle range (1/4-3/4 open Throttle Slide).
It mixes the air from the Main Air Correction Jet with the fuel from the Main Jet.
The Mixer Tubes originally installed in Largeframe Models can be interchanged.
For example，Bell caused by an excessively lean part-load mixture can be eliminated with a richer Mixer Tube.
The better the Main Jet，Mixer Tube and Main Air Correction Jet harmonize with each other，the cleaner the Engine will run.
The following applies to Mixer Tubes：The smaller the number given，the leaner the Mixer Tube.
BE1 is therefore very lean，while BE6 is very rich.
As some Mixer Tubes are no longer available as original parts，KOSO manufactures its own BE2 Mixer Tubes with SIP marking - in high manufacturing quality and with low tolerances.
Conclusion：High-quality SIP/DELL’ORTO quality - indispensable for optimum carburetor tuning in the part-load range.
It is best to order a Main Air Correction Jet that matches the Mixer Tube.
For SI D/H/E carburettors，e.g.
HLK 160 with BE3，HLK 140-160 with BE5，HLK 190 with BE4.
It is also worth testing with different Main Jets.
