Return spring brake cable for Vespa Cosa 125-200/FL，stainless steel，remade by SIP.
The Cosa brake is an oddball among the Vespa brakes.
Generally，all Vespa drum brakes are actuated mechanically by a cable.
Only the Cosa left the factory with a hydraulic brake system.
The foot pedal works both the front and back brake via a distributor.
Only the lever brake，which actuates the front drum only，utilises a cable.
Because of this complicated setup there is so much friction in the system that an external return spring is needed to make sure the brake pads move back away from the drum reliably.
The original spring is plain steel，and even though it is zinc plated years and years of exposure to road grime and salt do cause corrosion eventually.
SIP has therefore made the springs from stainless steel.
No more rust，and the brake will continue to work reliably.
