Rim SIP MK II design made of forged aluminum from SIP PERFORMANCE for all Modern Vespa GTS.
The first forged Rim from SIP PERFORMANCE！ In cooperation with a rim development professional，we have succeeded in reducing the weight slightly compared to comparable 13” rims.
Nevertheless，the Rim meets both national and international strength and durability standards.

An uncompromising and extremely complex development process was necessary to bring this Rim onto the market with a weight of only around 3000 grams.
This makes it the lightest SIP 13” Rim for Modern Vespa Models.
In the motorcycle scene，forged rims are considered an absolute high-end product and are usually unaffordable.
Our goal was to bring a forged Rim to the market at an affordable price.
Other forged rims available on the market for Vespa GTS models usually cost twice as much - and often without approval
The use of forged rims offers several advantages.
The special forging process makes the material particularly dense and robust，which allows the rims to be much lighter than conventional cast rims.
This weight saving has a direct effect on vehicle dynamics：Lower unsprung masses improve the responsiveness of the chassis，increase agility and ensure more precise steering.
At the same time，high stability is maintained，making them perfect for demanding driving conditions.
A forged Rim therefore combines lightness and exceptional load-bearing capacity - a real advantage for performance and riding pleasure.”
Two-wheelers equipped with our Rim MK II feel noticeably more agile and react more precisely on the suspension side due to the lower unsprung masses.
Visually，the slim five double spokes signal that neither material nor installation space has been wasted.
For the first time in comparison to any SIP or Piaggio design，the center of the rim has been recessed in relation to the outer edge.
This concave shape is visually appealing，almost as if the Rim had a positive offset.
The SIP safety standard for the development of new rim types includes load tests and official approval by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA).
It goes without saying that our MK II Rim also complies with the latest guidelines.
Successful testing according to German standards (StVZO) resulted in recognition by the KBA in the form of a general operating permit (ABE).
The MK II Rim can be fitted both front and rear.
Theoretically，all tires up to a width of 140 fit.
This Bushes is required to mount the Rim as a rear wheel.
Vehicles with ABS and Tone Wheel for the ABS Sensor can be converted with the SIP Mounting Kit.
Vehicles with ABS must be calibrated after a tire change; please refer to the vehicle operating instructions
