Special oil filler/drain plug replacement for the bolt found on vintage small/largeframe Vespa engines.
Even the smallest parts allow room for improvement or simplification.
A good example is provided by this particular M8 bolt with an 11mm hexagonal head.
This configuration is unusual to most，but familiar to Vespa owners.
Almost all vintage large and smallframe Vespa models use this bolt thread/head combination as the oil filler and plug bolts in their engine casings.
Includes integrated magnet.
Enlarged magnetic surface area for increased swarf particle collection.

This version offers the advantage of a magnet being solidly pressed into the centre of the bolts threaded shaft.
This is included to collect swarf particles from the oil that can，over time，be produced by the normal wear of gearbox components.
This prevents it from contaminating and potentially damaging any bearings or sliding surfaces lubricated by the oil.
Due to the relatively small shaft diameter of the Vespa engines oil-filler/drain plug bolts the integrated magnet on this type protrudes from its centre by 4mm.
This increases its surface area and with it its capacity for swarf collection.
There is normally sufficient clearance within the Vespa gearboxes to allow for this slight extension，but always check for potential fouling before use！ The kit includes a copper gasket that is located on the shaft between the head and thread of the bolt to avoid false positioning during mounting.
Conclusion：An unobtrusive but useful part that can actually help prevent internal engine wear！
