Brake Callipers from any manufacturer can be adapted to the SIP 39072 Axle Seating with parts certificate using the SIP Spacer - Rings.
Because different Brake Callipers have different heights，it may be necessary to adjust the distance from the wheel center/axle.
This is done using Washers or Spacers of different thicknesses.
If the distance is too small (too few Spacers)，the outer diameter of the Brake Disc will rub on the inside of the Brake Calliper.
If the distance is too large (too thick a Spacer)，the Brake Calliper scratches the outside of the Rim.
As a rule，the brake caliper bracket (Axle Seating) and Brake Calliper from one manufacturer are matched to each other and fit without spacing.

Stage 6 Brake Calliper on SIP Axle Seating，spacers may be necessary...
The SIP Spacers are CNC machined with high precision and thus avoid tilting or forcing of the brake components.
They are supplied in pairs.
SIP recommends Nord-Lock wedge lock washers for fastening the Brake Caliper as well as high-quality Screws of strength class 8.8 or higher.
Note：Ensure sufficient free thread length despite the Spacer！ Rule of thumb：Screwed-in thread length in aluminum approx.
2 x screw diameter.
Tightening torque M8 26 - 28 Nm.
Homologation：The SIP Axle Seating 39072 has a parts certificate because it has been tested and meets all the requirements for an Axle Seating for Classic Vespas.
This makes it easier to combine and register it with a Brake Calliper from another manufacturer in the documents.
However，approval of the Brake Calliper from the other manufacturer is at the discretion of the TUV expert (individual approval).
