Signal filter for mounting the original T5 Rev Counter in combination with the SIP Performance by VAPE Ignition.
If a SIP Performance by VAPE Ignition is installed in a Vespa T5，the problem arises that the original Rev Counter cannot detect the correct speed based on the luminous flux.
This is because the VAPE Ignition generates a higher frequency.
We offer two types of signal filters that solve this problem.
Vape in combination with T5 Rev Counter possible
Two different types available
The Voltage Regulator 51008130 has an output at which half the frequency of the light current is applied.
Wire can be pulled from there through the Frame to the speedometer.
Connected to the input for the Rev Counter signal in the Steering Head，the original T5 Rev Counter displays correctly in conjunction with the VAPE Ignition.
The signal filter 51008140 is a very compact component that can be easily accommodated in the Steering Head.
From there，it can be connected directly to the input for the speed signal on the T5 speedometer.
Here too，the frequency of the luminous flux is halved.
The result is the same as when using the Voltage Regulator 51008130：the T5 Rev Counter can display the speed correctly in conjunction with the VAPE Ignition.
The T5 Speedometer/Rev Counter receives its signal via two wires，black and red，which are each fitted to the back of the Speedometer with an eyelet on the Speedometer circuit board.
The red Wire must be unscrewed from the circuit board and connected to the speed signal from the Voltage Regulator 51008130 or that of the signal filter 51008140 .
Done.
Conclusion：with these two solutions，SIP Performance by VAPE Ignition and the original T5 Rev Counter can finally be combined without any problems.
