Our new SIP Speed Sensors are compatible with all Vespa models equipped with a GTS or PX/PK style steering column，whether original or reproduced.
This device eliminates problems with delicate mechanical speedo drive mechanisms of differing lengths and types and is plug ＆ play installed and functional，even when using two left-thumbs！ Irrelevant of whether there is a drum or disc brake system fitted，we can now provide a speed sensor to suit！
This SIP speed sensor replaces the original speedo drive cable completely and receives the front-wheel speed signal from the existing original worm-drive.
The cable included in the kit has a waterproof connection to the speed sensor，is then routed through the steering column and connected within the steering assembly to an electronic speedometer/rev-counter device.
This is then able to give an ultra-accurate measurement of the road speed etc.
avoiding completely the danger of mechanical failure.
Conclusion：A logical and highly practical extra to perfectly complement any SIP speedometer/rev-counter set up！
