DC Wiring Loom from SIP Performance for the SIP VAPE Ignition of the Vespa P80-150X,PX80-200E,Lusso 1° and P200E.
If you buy a SIP Speedometer/Rev Counter and a SIP Performance VAPE Ignition for your scooter,you can use a SIP Performance Wiring Loom to plug & play almost all the connections for the Speedometer/Rev Counter and Ignition.
No more tedious searching for the right Wire from which,for example,the power supply for the speedometer can be disconnected.

The DC variants of the SIP Performance Wiring Looms are designed for concepts with a Battery.
All consumers are powered directly from the battery and the power from the alternator is used to recharge the battery.
A Headlight Unit LED can be connected purely electrically without any further modifications.
Various wires are connected to the original Headlight Plug.
These connections must be made individually without the original Headlight Plug.
A switched 12 V connection is available in the Junction Box under the Horn Cover.
A USB socket can be connected here,e.g.
to charge a cell phone on the road.
The full DC Wiring Loom for Vespa P80-150X/PX80-200E/Lusso 1°/P200E provides the power supply for the speedometer black box in the front part of the scooter.
The connection cable is designed so that it can be routed both in the Handlebar and under the Horn Cover.
This means that the black box can be installed in the desired position on the scooter,depending on space and preference.

Preparation for a Brake Light Switch on the Steering Head for solutions with fully hydraulic Disc Brake.
If this is not required,please ensure that the plugs at the Wire ends are well insulated and cannot come into contact with metal in the Steering Head.
The Brake Light Switch on the foot brake pedal must be a “Lock” variant,e.g.
article the Brake Light Switch (18187810) or the Brake Light Switch from Piaggio (18187800)
The SIP Performance DC Wiring Looms are supplied with two Fuse Holders,each with a 10 A fuse.
This is the maximum value,Fuses for higher rated currents must NOT be installed.
The protective conduit for the parts of the Wiring Loom that run inside the chassis is deliberately installed with a large diameter.
This allows the Wiring Loom to be adjusted flat as it passes through the Frame,which makes installation much easier.
Caution:Always handle the plugs for the SIP Speedometer/Rev Counter with extreme care and NEVER pull in the Wiring Loom using these plugs or cables! These wires only have a cross-section of 0.5 mm and - like the plugs - are not designed to absorb large forces.
The black ground cable to the Engine with 6 mm eyelet must be connected to the VAPE CDI.
Either Screw it directly onto the CDI or screw it to the Crankcase if the CDI has been fitted with the earth cable (58484031).
We always recommend installing the separate ground cable.
A VAPE-Classic Voltage Regulator can be installed with the corresponding Wiring without having to re-crimp the plugs.
Note:
When used with a SIP tachometer,the ignition pulse must be set to -1-.
Conclusion:The perfect plug & play solution for all those who do not want to delve deeper into scooter electrics,but would like to “plug together” according to instructions.
