The gasket is made of MotorGasket M0138，a material designed and produced by Athena. MotorGasket M0138 consists of a central layer of steel，with asbestos-free material on either side composed of a high percentage of aramid fibers，inorganic fillers，and high-binding power elastomers.
M0138 has good resistance to mechanical and thermal stresses and adapts well to surfaces. This gasket material is resistant to oils，fuels，water/antifreeze mixtures，and anti-corrosion agents，making it suitable for head gaskets，exhaust and intake gaskets，and flanges subjected to high mechanical and thermal stress.
